So...You've got exams coming up?

Let me guess? Its just dawned on you, that you don't know the difference between an acute and an abtuse triangle?...Fear not....for help is at hand.

By clikcing the link on the right, it will send you to a podcast created to help relieve the stress from your exams and have you Jumping For Joy.

However, if your like some people and can't be bothered to wait for the download, don't worry, some of the tips are listed below:

  • The best way to start is to have an early night before...you want to be more than half awake if your going to sit exams
  • Another safe bet, is to break your revision down into sections of about 20 - 25 minutes, that way you won't overload your brain!
  • However the most important one these days is too TURN OFF YOUR MOBLIE PHONE, that way it won't distract and you will have more chance of remenbering your stuff

Another way to help would be to identify your learning style, this may sound weird to you, but if you can get this now, you'll be laughing when you get your striaght A's.

Learning styles are broken down into three groups,

The AUDIO'S

The KINESTHETIC'S

and last, but not least, The VISUAL'S

Don't worry if your friends are a different group to you, they won't be doing your exam will they?

AUDIO

Now your best bet here, is to record your self saying your revision, then play it back to you on your way to school, or the shops, or to your friends house the possiblitys are endless.

If you are an audio learner, then Audacity is for you, this is a free program that allows you record yourself and then to convert that into mp3s.

KINESTHETIC

You a mover? Do you jig alot?... Odds are your probalby a kinesthetic learner...you best bet is too write out all notes onto big pieces of paper and then to place them in different parts of your house (if you mum complains tell them it'll only be there for a few weeks!). Then you revise by walking to the different places in your house and this will help you revise.

VISUAL

Do you like pretty colours? Do you think this website would look better with more colour? Odds are your a visual learner, your best bet would be too write out all your notes in different colours or to draw pictures and spider diagrams and put all the posters up in your room, don't worry its about your rooms style, they'll only be on for a few months.
