When you are studing GCSE and A-Level it can become very stressful and here are some tips to help you when you are revising for exams:

 

1. Always find a quiet, well-lit place to study.

2. Avoid studying in places where there is distractions around e.g. television

3. Make sure thatn you have everything that you need to revise in reach.

4. Always break your revision into 20-30 minute slots with 15 minutes for a break in between revision slots

5. Make yourself a revision plan so that you know when and where and what you are revising

What Type of Learner are you???

 

  • Visual Learner

Visual Learners find it easier to take in new information through pictures, diagrams, charts and films.

 

Visual Learners learn best by writing key things down and using pictures and diagrams so they can visualise what they need to learn.

 

 

 

 

 

  • Audio Learner

Verbal learners find it easier to in new information through the spoken word.

 

Audio Learners like hearing seminars and presentations and enjoy explaining the subject to someone else

 

  • Kinaesthetic Learner

Kinaesthetic Learners find it easier to take in new information through copying demonstrations and getting physically involved.

 

As a Kinaesthetic Learner, you learn best by making models, highlighting key points and recording information, possibly in a mind map.
